Getting Started

What is Pip?

Pip is a calm, private personal AI assistant that keeps your files in one place, remembers what matters, and works with every major AI. It picks the right model for each task, connects to the apps you already use, and keeps your data private by default — stored in Europe.

How do I create an account?

Creating an account is simple:

  1. 1 Click "Sign Up" on the landing page
  2. 2 Continue with Google, or sign up with your email and a password
  3. 3 Complete your profile with a few basics

Features

What can Pip help me with?

Pip can assist with a wide range of tasks:

Can Pip remember context from previous conversations?

Yes! Pip maintains conversation history within each chat thread, allowing it to understand context and provide more relevant responses. You can start a new conversation thread for different topics to keep things organized.

Can I use Pip on my phone?

Yes! Pip is accessible through any web browser on your phone, and we also offer native iOS and Android apps for the best mobile experience.

Privacy & Security

Is my data safe with Pip?

Absolutely. We take data security very seriously:

  • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
  • We use industry-standard authentication protocols
  • Regular security audits and monitoring
  • Compliance with GDPR and CCPA regulations

Do you sell my data?

Can children use Pip?

Pip is built for ages 13 and up. It isn't designed for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data — if we learn an under-13 account exists, we delete it.

What happens when I delete a conversation or my data?

Technical Questions

What AI technology powers Pip?

Pip works with AI models from Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), OpenAI (GPT), Meta (Llama), and more. It picks the best model for each task automatically, but you can switch models anytime.

What browsers are supported?

Pip works best on modern browsers:

Can I export my data?

Yes! You can export your data yourself at any time from Settings → Privacy — Pip builds you a downloadable package, in a machine-readable format (JSON), with everything it stores about you.

Billing & Subscription

How much does Pip cost?

Pip has three plans — see the full breakdown on the pricing page.

  • Free — $0 forever. Enough to try Pip and see if we click.
  • Pip — $18/month. Generous limits for everyday use. Pip routes to the right model for each task.
  • Pip Pro — $36/month. Pick any model directly, including flagship models like Claude Opus, GPT-5, and Gemini Pro.

What's the difference between Pip and Pip Pro?

On Pip, conversations route automatically to the model best suited for each task — fast for quick questions, deeper for harder ones. You don't think about which AI is which.

On Pip Pro, you can pick any model directly when you want to — including the flagship reasoning models. Pro also doubles your storage and triples your image generation.

What's a premium message?

Flagship models — like Claude Opus, GPT-5, and Gemini Pro — cost more to run, so Pip Pro includes a monthly budget of 300 premium messages for sends that route to them. A flagship-tier send uses 5 of your premium-message budget, an advanced send uses 3, basic 1. Most Pro users don't approach the cap.

Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle, so you keep what you paid for. Cancellation is one click from in-app Settings — no email-us-to-cancel friction.

Is there a family plan?

Not yet. We're building it properly — age-appropriate spaces, parental controls, per-member memory. We'd rather ship it right than ship it fast. Once it's ready, current Pip subscribers get first access.
